Purple Seal 

2.5” long, 24” long 7 strand hand braided black linen wampum bead and loop clasp. 

A seal in the process of surfacing became clearly visible in this shell as I shaped the pendant. Seals are making a come back in the western Atlantic and contribute to the sense of vibrant life in coastal waters again.
